There was a small surprise when seventh rankedZlin (5-4) beat at home 4th ranked Svitavy (6-6) 87-74 on Friday. Zlin made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Jan Micka who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and Tomas Jansa who added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Zlin players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Martin Novak with 30 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Pavel Slezak scored 9 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zlin moved-up to sixth place. Loser Svitavy dropped to the third position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
